Nice System Specs BTW. I did have a similar problem and I found a solution to the problem and downloaded ATI Fusion and ran the on-line gaming profile, this shut down quite a few windows 7 services running in the background and sped up my client...

Just a thought... when you go into windowed mode and you look back at the settings, do you have more than one option for which Display adapter to use ( I have 4 on that drop down list), if you do have more than 1 try selecting the other one press ...

hmmm... thats a littl bit puzzling. Have you recently upgraded any software or hardware in your PC? the way i find out what the blue screens say if they flicker like that is to record it on my camera andthen play it back frame by frame, usually do...

Can you see what it says on the blue screen when it happens as that will give you a clue as to whats going on, try downoading the offline installer and preferably with a download manager. What are your system Specifications?

Ive had a similar Issue but mine was memory related. I turned down the clock on my memory 1600 -> 1333 DDR3 and it solved the problems. this was happening just on eve and nothing else at the time. but now everything seems to be working faster ...
